Colorado COVID-19 Safe Workplace Training Update

COVID-19 SAFE WORKPLACE TRAINING

Update

October 19, 2020

Clear Law Institute provides compliant and current Covid-19 Safe Workplace training. Our training complies with CDC and OSHA guidelines and the growing number of states mandating COVID-19 workplace safety training. Our Compliance Advisory Team regularly monitors federal and state authorities and updates the training as needed. We also provide necessary re-training opportunities at no cost.

On October 11, 2020, Governor Polis issued Executive Order D 2020-219, which extends the state’s face covering mandate for another 30 days.

The Executive Order also allows the state to grant limited face covering waivers to perform specific, one-time indoor activities that cannot otherwise be performed when wearing a face covering if the activity can be done safely.  However, the state will not grant a waiver if it is only easier or more comfortable to perform the activity without a face covering.

The Colorado Department of Health only reviews organization waiver requests based on physical impossibility or safety risks. Organizations can initiate a waiver by completing the Request for Mask Exemption Form.
