Clear Law Institute provides compliant and current Covid-19 Safe Workplace training. Our training complies with CDC and OSHA guidelines and the growing number of states mandating COVID-19 workplace safety training. Our Compliance Advisory Team regularly monitors federal and state authorities and updates the training, as needed. 

On April 28, 2021, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper issued an Executive Order lifting the state’s outdoor mask mandate.

Rhode Island COVID-19 Safe Workplace Training Update

On April 30, 2021, Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee issued an Executive Order stating that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask outdoors when they are at least three (3) feet apart from others.

Vermont COVID-19 Safe Workplace Training Update

Vermont Governor Philip Scott recently issued an Executive Order stating, effective May 1, 2021, masks are no longer required in outdoor public spaces, provided sustained or prolonged close contact with others outside of the person’s household can be avoided.

Virginia COVID-19 Safe Workplace Training Update

Our training complies with CDC and OSHA guidelines and the growing number of states mandating COVID-19 workplace safety training. Our Compliance Advisory Team regularly monitors federal and state authorities and updates the training, as needed. 

On April 29, 2021, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam issued an Executive Order easing the outdoor mask mandate to state that everyone must wear a mask outdoors “as recommended by the CDC.” However, if this CDC guidance conflicts with the Virginia Guidelines for All Business Sectors, the guidelines govern.

The CDC recently updated its outdoor face mask guidance for fully vaccinated people to state that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask outdoors, except in certain crowded settings and venues.

The Executive Order further states that where the Final Permanent Standard for Infectious Disease Prevention of the SARS- CoV-2 Virus that Causes COVID-19 conflicts with requirements and guidelines applicable to businesses in the Order, the Order governs.

Guidance Update

TSA Update

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) extended the mask requirement for all individuals across all transportation networks in the United States, including airports, onboard commercial aircraft, over-the-road buses, and commuter bus and rail systems through September 13, 2021.

Guidance Update

CDC Update

The CDC recently updated its outdoor face mask guidance for fully vaccinated people. The guidance now states that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask outdoors, except in certain crowded settings and venues.

Among other things, the updated guidance also states that:

  • Fully vaccinated workers no longer need to be restricted from work following exposure as long as they are asymptomatic.

  • Fully vaccinated asymptomatic people without exposure may be exempted from routine screening testing, if feasible.
